About

As the name suggests this blog is about me and the beautiful life that God has blessed me with.

My husband and I have been married for 8 years and we currently have one beautiful little man who is almost 3 years old, one baby we never got to meet, we are certain in our hearts that the baby was a girl, and one baby boy on the way, due July 27th. Unborn baby boy has a congenital heart defect so I am enjoying every moment that he gets to be with me and together we are praying and hoping that he will be born and we will get the opportunity to watch him grow up.

Who am I? Besides wife and mother, I love to cook and bake and in particular I like to find and alter recipes to make them healthier versions that still taste awesome. Not just good for a healthy version, good for a gluten free, good for a sugar free etc. but just plain good.

I also love to read, although as a busy mom that doesn’t happen as often as I would like. I like to be creative, but that mostly happens in my head as well. Our current living situation does not accommodate many projects but I will eventually have a garage or basement to work in. My husband doesn’t understand really, he thinks why would I make it if I can just go buy a new one. And I think why would I go buy one when I can make it.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

There are many things I strive for in life but this seems to sum up our lives right now.

I hope you are blessed as you read the thoughts, feeling and ideas that i share here with you.
